Gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service. Based on this research, recommend the sale of specific items. Plan and implement an online marketing campaign. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution, and store the data using SQL or Excel. Employ search marketing tactics, analyze web metrics, and develop recommendations to increase search engine ranking and visibility to target markets. Analyze data and make reports for management on the sales and profitability of items, and on the effectiveness of marketing through various sales platforms and online stores. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Review online feedback from customers or website users. Based on that feedback, make recommendations to management. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Seek and provide information to help employer determine its position in the marketplace.
