"3D Rat - Banksy" Canvas Art by AWESOMETIK.
Rat With 3D Glasses is a unique Banksy original, which appeared as a mural painted on the stage door of the Egyptian Theater in Utah, US in 2010. It displays one of Banksy’s favourite motifs, the rat, wearing blue-and-red 3D glasses against a white background. It’s not known why Banksy uses rats in his artworks - possible explanations are that they are a reference to the “working class”, as well as a reference to famous French graffiti artist Blek Le Rat. He uses the rodents because “rat” is an anagram of “art”.
