Design inspiration
In this piece Banksy pays tribute to the Clash’s London Calling album cover. It shows a figure angrily smashing an office chair on the floor in place of the usual guitar.
The meaning of this work is up to interpretation. Maybe Banksy wanted to say that we spend too much time in front of office desks and computers? Or maybe he encourages us to rebel, and that we should get up and do something instead of just watching?
